FAQ

Questions, answered.

A little clarity before we begin. If you don't see your question here, reach out — every plan starts with a conversation.

The practice & your care

Who performs the treatments?

Every treatment is performed personally by Ana Maria Braswell, a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas, under the oversight of a physician medical director. You see the same provider each visit.

What does “RN-led with medical director oversight” mean?

It means your treatments are administered by an experienced registered nurse and supervised by a licensed physician medical director, Dr. Chase Kornegay, who establishes clinical protocols and is available for medical guidance. This collaborative model is standard for medical aesthetics in Texas.

Where are you located, and do you serve nearby areas?

The practice is a private, by-appointment studio in McKinney, Texas, serving McKinney and the surrounding Collin County communities — including Frisco, Allen, Prosper, Fairview, Celina, Melissa, Princeton, Anna, and Plano. The studio address is shared with you when you book.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. Every plan begins with a consultation so we can understand what you’re noticing, review your history, and determine what is appropriate and safe for you before recommending anything.

Botox

What can Botox treat?

Botox is a neurotoxin that temporarily relaxes the muscles behind repeated expressions, softening dynamic lines such as forehead lines, frown lines between the brows (the “11s”), and crow’s feet. The goal here is a natural, refreshed look — not a frozen one.

How long does Botox last?

Results typically last about three to four months. This varies from person to person depending on the area treated, the dose, and your individual metabolism, and is something we’ll discuss at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most people find Botox very tolerable. It’s a quick series of tiny injections with a fine needle, and any discomfort is usually brief and minor.

When will I see results?

Onset usually begins within a few days, with the full effect typically visible around two weeks after treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is generally minimal — most people return to their normal day right away. You’ll receive simple aftercare guidance to follow for the first several hours.

Medical microneedling

What is medical microneedling, and what does it help?

Medical microneedling (collagen induction therapy) uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, prompting its natural repair process. It’s commonly used to support skin texture, fine lines, the appearance of pores, and overall radiance.

How many sessions will I need?

Microneedling is often done as a short series for best results, with sessions spaced a few weeks apart. The right number for you is tailored to your skin and goals during your consultation.

What is recovery like?

It’s common to have some redness — similar to a mild sunburn — for a day or two afterward. You’ll be given specific aftercare, including sun protection and gentle skincare, to support healing.

Booking & consultation

How do I book?

You can request a consultation through the consultation form on this site. Ana will follow up to find a time that works for you.

What should I expect at a consultation?

A relaxed, no-pressure conversation about what you’re noticing, what’s realistic, and a conservative plan suited to you. You’re never obligated to proceed on the same day.

How is pricing handled?

Because every plan is individualized, pricing is discussed transparently during your consultation once we’ve agreed on what’s right for you.

Still have a question?

The best answers come in conversation. Schedule a consultation and we'll talk through what you're considering.
